Dopo mesi di intenso lavoro, siamo finalmente lieti di annunciare il nostro primo attesissimo scambio culturale con le meravigliose Filippine!
Dal 1° al 5 ottobre, nella prestigiosa cornice del Metropolitan Theatre di Manila, celebreremo il grande compositore Giacomo Puccini con una straordinaria Masterclass su La Bohème e sull’opera lirica italiana, riconosciuta Patrimonio dell’UNESCO.
L’evento vedrà protagonista il celebre tenore Fabio Armiliato, affiancato dal soprano Lorena Zaccaria, il Maestro Mariano Panìco, che dirigerà le prove di sala con i cantanti, e il M° John Florencio, consulente artistico internazionale della nostra associazione e pianista, il cui instancabile impegno è stato fondamentale per la realizzazione di questo ambizioso progetto.
Ma la vera novità, che rende questo progetto internazionale un’avventura emozionante, è che culminerà nel 2025, quando il talento dei giovani cantanti Filippini arriverà in Italia per la messa in scena de La Bohème a Taranto, con un cast interamente filippino!
Un ponte culturale che unisce due mondi, celebrando l’arte e la musica come linguaggio universale.
Un sentito ringraziamento va al Cultural Center of the Philippines, alla National Commission for Culture and the Arts, al National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), a VivaVoce Lab, e alle personalità che hanno reso possibile tutto questo: Irene Marcos Araneta, Camille Lopez Molina, John Florencio e Jonathan Velasco.

PUCCINI PROJECT – The Metropolitan Theatre of MANILA
After months of hard work, we are finally thrilled to announce our first, highly anticipated cultural exchange with the wonderful Philippines!
From October 1st to 5th, in the prestigious setting of the Metropolitan Theatre in Manila, we will honor the great composer Giacomo Puccini with an extraordinary Masterclass on La Bohème and Italian opera, recognized as UNESCO World Heritage.
The event will feature the renowned tenor Fabio Armiliato, accompanied by soprano Lorena Zaccaria, Maestro Mariano Panìco, who will lead the rehearsals with the singers, and Maestro John Florencio, the international artistic consultant of our association and pianist, whose tireless dedication has been instrumental in the realization of this ambitious project.
But the real highlight, making this international project an exciting adventure, is that it will culminate in 2025, when the talent of young Filipino singers will arrive in Italy for a performance of La Bohème in Taranto, with an entirely Filipino cast!
